Yesterday my eldest cousin, James, got married to the beautiful Alex. It was a lovely wedding and a great day. Their vintage/music theme was so well thought out and they came up with quirky and unique ideas that I hadn't seen at weddings before. My favourite touches were the music note confetti holders and the bird cage centre pieces.
Bridesmaid dresses: Miss Selfridge
Everyone at the table had a box with their name on it. Inside were little balls of plasticine and we were told to make up a bride and groom, with the winning ones going on top of the cake! Unfortunately, my bride and my mum's groom didn't quite make it, haha!
My little brother looked amazing in his navy suit!
I was so excited to wear this dress ever since I bought it for the occasion a few weeks back. It's such a lovely floaty fabric and the perfect print for a wedding. The only down side for me was that it is quite revealing at the front and that's not normally my style. However, I managed to pin the front together slightly so that I felt more comfortable. I also absolutely love the heels I wore for the day, although they were quite hard to walk in. After the meal and before the evening event I changed into some more trusty black heeled sandals.
It took me ages to find an outfit to wear as a wedding guest, so if you've done a wedding post I'd love to check it out.
lovely wedding photos. congratulations to your cousin and his new bride. and i love the dress that you wore ;)
